This has got to be one of my all-time favorite ads. I'm a big fan of Juicy Couture ads in general. I love the colors and the old-time flair that they use. For me, this ad just works. It's undoubtedly a little bit strange, what with the little old ladies with cotton candy hair standing next to the beautiful model. But I love it!

I mean, come on....how cute are they?? (Super cute).

I think Juicy has done a great job of making their ads recognizable. This ad screams JUICY COUTURE. They're quirky and unconventional, which makes them lovable and memorable.

What are my values?
I hold the values of my faith extremely high. I value honesty, morality, and a good work ethic. I want to be a role model for fellow students on the UNL campus as well as to anyone who I come into contact with. I hold the teachings of the Church close to my heart and desire to shine that light as brightly as I can.

Some things I love
I love the outdoors. I love opening a window and feeling the breeze on my face. I love music, I love to discover, I love to write. I've always been a lover of animals, especially my dear dog Eloise and my lovebird, Antigone. I love searching for a deeper meaning to life...a search for the truth.
I love my family, friends, and my God.
I love coffee and diet cherry Pepsi.
I love to live, love, and defend life.

Some things I hate
I have a strong dislike for stereotypes. I have a strong dislike for those who claim to be tolerant, but are far from it. I dislike negative attitudes. I dislike mayonnaise most of all.

I am insanely great at
Being a friend. I will listen for as long as it takes. Perhaps Conor Oberst says it best in his song Bowl of Oranges when he says, "Baby don't worry, 'cause now I got your back. And every time you feel like crying I'm gonna try and make you laugh. And if I can't, if it just hurts too bad, then we'll wait for it to pass, and I will keep you company in those days so long and black".

I am proud of
How much I've grown in this past year. I'm proud of all of the mistakes that I've made that have toughened me up and humbled me. I'm proud of the fact that I can pick myself up when I fall and try that much harder the next time around. I'm proud that I'm a team player.

I want to be
The best version of myself. I want to defy the odds. I want to be a light in someone's darkness. I want to be an inspiration.

What is important and valuable to me
Always trying to put others' needs before my own. I value honesty and integrity. I value a touch, a conversation, family and friends, and faith.

I would like to be known for
bringing a smile to your face, and for having faith unshaken.

Someday I will have an old house filled with books and photos and family. I imagine something like this:::

Looks like love.

Blessings,
Andrea.

Hello World!

As silly as I feel talking about myself, you must know your blogger!

My name is Andrea. I'm about to finish up my second year of college (where did the time go??)
I'm majoring in the fascinating world of advertising, and I'm still trying to soak in all of the information! There is so much to learn in the field, as well as learn about myself in the process. I'll admit that it's all a bit intimidating and scary for an amateur like me, but I love the thrill of it all.

So how did I get here?
My college experience has been all about coming out of my shell. Last year at this time I was terrified at the very thought of putting myself in unfamiliar situations. Now I eat that up.
I started to get involved at the Newman Center on campus, which was a vital part of my growing up and branching out. It was there that I realized I really had a voice! and I'm not afraid to put myself out there. With the help of some beautiful people that I've met there (as well as some good conversations with the big man upstairs), I know I've got what it takes.

Well, world, it's time to go enjoy this b-e-a-utiful day!

Blessings,
Andrea

I've found a new love....
Summer Vanillas.

Gone are the days where Vanilla is a wintery warm scent. These are outrageously fantastic. I made a trip to Bath and Body Works and picked myself up a lotion in the Berry Vanilla and the Lemon Vanilla.
Can you say SUMMER SKIN?

It's a beautiful day, there's no question about that.
Windows are open (fresh air, anyone?), possibility of rain, music playing.

It's the perfect day to dream.
