What are my values?
I hold the values of my faith extremely high. I value honesty, morality, and a good work ethic. I want to be a role model for fellow students on the UNL campus as well as to anyone who I come into contact with. I hold the teachings of the Church close to my heart and desire to shine that light as brightly as I can.
Some things I love
I love the outdoors. I love opening a window and feeling the breeze on my face. I love music, I love to discover, I love to write. I've always been a lover of animals, especially my dear dog Eloise and my lovebird, Antigone. I love searching for a deeper meaning to life...a search for the truth.
I love my family, friends, and my God.
I love coffee and diet cherry Pepsi.
I love to live, love, and defend life.
Some things I hate
I have a strong dislike for stereotypes. I have a strong dislike for those who claim to be tolerant, but are far from it. I dislike negative attitudes. I dislike mayonnaise most of all.
I am insanely great at
Being a friend. I will listen for as long as it takes. Perhaps Conor Oberst says it best in his song Bowl of Oranges when he says, "Baby don't worry, 'cause now I got your back. And every time you feel like crying I'm gonna try and make you laugh. And if I can't, if it just hurts too bad, then we'll wait for it to pass, and I will keep you company in those days so long and black".
I am proud of
How much I've grown in this past year. I'm proud of all of the mistakes that I've made that have toughened me up and humbled me. I'm proud of the fact that I can pick myself up when I fall and try that much harder the next time around. I'm proud that I'm a team player.
I want to be
The best version of myself. I want to defy the odds. I want to be a light in someone's darkness. I want to be an inspiration.
What is important and valuable to me
Always trying to put others' needs before my own. I value honesty and integrity. I value a touch, a conversation, family and friends, and faith.
I would like to be known for
bringing a smile to your face, and for having faith unshaken.
